Give details about Natiojnal Mission on Natural Farming ?
Ans :
1) The National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF) is implemented in coordination with the States/UTs on the basis of Action Plan proposed by the States/UTs.
2)Till date, 17,639 Natural Farming Clusters have been formed in 623 districts and 8.79 lakh farmers have been trained under the Mission.
3)The Operational Guidelines of National Mission on Natural Farming envisage the role of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) to provide on-field training to the Community Resource Persons (CRPs)/Krishi Sakhis and farmers at model demonstration farms covering locally relevant package of natural farming practices and preparation of inputs such as Beejamrut, Jeevamrut, Neemastra etc.
4)To promote market linkage and ensuring quality control of natural farming produce online Natural Farming Certification System (NFCS) has been developed by National Centre for Organic & Natural Farming (NCONF), Ghaziabad under Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare in the name of Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) – INDIA- NATURAL.
5)The online certification system has been made live for online registration and certification of the Natural Farming Farmers.
